Topics in Dynamic Noncooperative Game Theory:
The aim of this course is to provide some of the important concepts and results concerning decision making in the presence of several decision makers who have different objectives but whose decisions affect each other.

The following topics will constitute the core of the course:

i) Equilibrium concepts (minimax, Nash, Pareto, Stackelberg)
ii) Normal and Extensive forms of a Game, Game tree, Information, Mixed and Behavior strategies
iii) Differential games -(deterministic and stochastic)- under several information patterns.

Text: Dynamic Noncooperative Game Theory, by T. Basar and G.J. Olsder.
We will also use several journal articles.

Prerequisites: The only prerequisite of this course is some knowledge of analysis and probability. Some understanding of optimization, optimal control and dynamic programming is helpful.

This course is of interest to engineers, economists and mathematicians.
